What motivates you to do well in trip planning?

• One hundred percent is the only way I know how to do things. This is the mentality I have when it comes to always striving to provide our customers with the best products and services possible. Knowing that what we do directly affects the success of a trip motivates me to always give one hundred percent. Knowing that our clients were able to execute a safe and successful trip is validation for all the hard work. No two trips are the same and each has its own level of difficulties and complexities. The challenges that each trip presents keeps me motivated and on my toes.

What motivates you to lead the team?

• Throughout my career, colleagues have shared their knowledge and expertise and help expand my skillset. Sharing my knowledge and providing guidance to others will not only help an individual, but also strengthen our team. This, in turn, means that our clients receive the highest level of service possible.

• I love food! I am a foodie! When I’m not working, I enjoy eating at new places, trying out new recipes, and sharing meals with loved ones and friends.

The AEG FUELS Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Platform

At every trade show, conference, customer meeting, and catchup, the AEG team is asked about Sustainable Fuel (SAF).  What is it?  Where is it available?  How much will it cost?  Do we really need to buy SAF?

In short:  It’s a drop-in replacement fuel, more places than you realize, not as much as you think, and absolutely yes.

At AEG, we are enthusiastically supporting the IATA and ICAO commitments to achieve carbon-neutral growth in aviation from 2020 onwards and achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Nearly 3% of the world’s CO2 Emissions occur as a direct result of air travel and of that 3%, over half of aviation carbon emissions are represented by just 1% of the world’s population.

AEG Carnet Card: Worldwide Fuel Savings

Globally recognized by AEG’s FBOs and fueling partners at over 3,000 airports, the AEG Carnet Card is our solution to deliver instantaneous fuel and ground services with no preauthorization necessary. The AEG card program allows customers to move freely and conveniently across the globe, authorizing delivery by simply presenting the card, and there is no fee to the merchant accepting the card which translates into the most competitively priced offering to operators.

“The AEG Carnet Card currently has over 8,000 cards that are issued and utilized by our business aviation and military clients worldwide,” states Warren Boin, Director of Card Services. The card is embossed with the name of the client, along with a 16-digit card number, expiration date, and tail number. The magnetic stripe on the back of the card is encoded with the same data, allowing it to be swiped on industry electronic POS systems.

Today the card is accepted electronically at all Atlantic Aviation locations as well as FBOs that utilize the X-1 FBO software. For all other locations throughout the world, the card is accepted and processed manually until these locations become integrated with our electronic processing gateway.

By carrying and using the card there is no need to obtain a fuel release prior to your arrival. Simply present the card to purchase fuel and other services provided in conjunction with the fuel. Of course, you can still request fuel releases as a backup when time allows or until you become more comfortable with utilizing the card. The card is also available virtually in the AEG App and provides an alternative to carrying the physical card. You can download the AEG App for either the Android or iOS operating systems from the Google and Apple App Stores.
